RP 7: Human-Robotic Machine Interaction
Goal: To research and develop further the human-machine/robot interface concept, which is based on exchanging semantic information between the entities. The information is obtained through cognitive processes from the working environment and described as the “common situation awareness model” of the entities. Generic features of the concept will be studied and enhanced technical means will be developed. A case study and demonstration around two different janitorial robots will be used to ground the research in a practical environment in the INTEGRATOR project. The detailed research plan has been divided into research problem tasks, as shown below. The tasks continue the work presently on-going at ATL and IHA.
